Grand landscapes, wide open and dramatic is how we grow up in Canada. When visiting galleries in South Africa, a curator mentioned how boring Canadian art is. Parker believes our politics to be very interesting. Our right to clean air, fresh water, and how our government should be doing more to provide citizens with the right to life.
Lions Game Children enjoy the urban Vancouver life near the Lions Gate Bridge. Parker chooses children as subjects in these grand landscapes because they interact more with the environment, compared to spectators we call adults.
